USE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Young Chronicle does not allow persons under 14 years of age to create user accounts without parent or adult supervision. Subscription to the application should be done under the supervision of a person 18 or over.

The entire content of this application including illustrations, photographs, article, design, software, graphics, logos and icons, buttons, audios and videos, is fully owned by The Young Chronicle and/or its affiliates, content suppliers and are protected by Indian design, trademark, copyright and other intellectual property laws. Content of this application should not be copied. Content rights are not transferred to users and/or subscribers.

In The Young Chronicle application, we ask for the child's name, age, and class but, we do not ask for the child's email address or phone number. It is explicitly stated that the phone number and email address of the parent should be shared during signup/login. it is not necessary that the name pertains to the child, it can belong to the parent as well.
The age and the class helps the app to ensure that the content readability levels map to those of the child.
Here is how The Young Chronicle uses the information collected from you
- Name: We use this information to personalize the app experience, and manage multiple users throughout the same subscription, if need be.
- Email Address: We use this information send mailers when a new newspaper issue is released. We also share important updates via email. Currently, we use a third party software to send mailers. However, this software is bound by law to never share your email address with anyone or send mailers from any other company, apart from The Young Chronicle, to you. It is recommended that the email address shared, is that of the parent or an adult over 18 years of age.
The Young Chronicle will not disclose any personal information to any third party, except to a respected and secure third party used to help us distribute our informative newsletter or if requested by law.
The Young Chronicle may collect non-personal, aggregated information about subscribers’ use of our applications and our site. This information is not personally identifiable and will only be used to figure out how subscribers use our products. For example, this information will show how much time users spend on the application and/or website, from where (which sites) users came, and to where (sites) users go.
